Boss Chorus and MXR 10 Band sound great in the loop. MXR Chorus, TC Delay and TC Reverb do not.
maybe I need an analogue delay pedal? (Not an expert on pedals) Maybe an MXR Carbon Copy Delay would work?
Hey there, so I tested it again and no dice. So weird... kill dry is set to off and it still is doing the delay issue and I even tried my TC Hallf Fame reverb pedal also with the Kill dry off. I messed with all the levels on the pedal, loop level on the back of the head and even the masters and...
Actually nothing... I opened up the TC Delay pedal and flicked the internal switches messing with the kill/dry switches etc. The TC Delay and Chorus still sound so "wrong" or "bad" in the loop.
However when I bought a Boss Super Chorus and MXR 10 Band EQ through the loop for channel 1 clean...
Yes I changed the cables and ran them in different ways just for a goof.
I think the issue is what Dom posted above as another expert PM'd me the same thing...to change the Kill dry switch to off
Hi folks, I can't tell if I am being a total tool... or I have something seriously wrong. Whenever I stick ANY effects in the loop of my Mark VII or Roadster, it sounds terrible. I have used Mesa Loops in the past but to be frank, not for about 10 years. I have been using Diezels and the effect...
Thanks! The beauty is I am getting the amp before the Mesa Traditional 4X12's come in stock anyway so I will be testing it to see how it performs with the G12-100's. But once again...yesterday I was talk with some local musicians and they all said that Mesa's are voiced for V30's and in...
Hey there. So here is my deal... boogie GAS hit me hard. I am a Diezel guy but have had Boogies on and off my whole life. Just got a Mark VII and really liking it.
So I was using a Diezel rear loaded 4x12 with V30's and wow... just not feeling it with the Diezel VHX or Mark VII.
I got a brand...
@Admin Hi there, would be great to set up a dedicated Mark VII forum section. Just got mine and would love to share my thoughts in a dedicated Mark VII section,
Congrabs! I am GASsing hard for a Roadster lately but can't tell if I want a Roadster or the latest Multiwatt Dual Recto. I really like 4 channels and Reverb.
Thanks man.
Yeah I found some pictures somewhere in a YT video where they had awesome tone with modern channel 3, snapped a picture and started using those settings and it sounds MUCH better.
No I use the boost TS9 for well...a boost or when I switch to passives as they tend to flub to my...
But in general it feels like no matter what you need a boost or pedal.
As I mentioned above. Even when I roll back the bass and start to up the gain...it tends to want to flub out.
Thanks.
So bare with me here.
I used to own some Recto's in the late 90's. First one was a Rectoverb. Then in the 2000's I mained a Diezel Vh4 and then for about 10 years a mained a Mesa Mark V. Recently I got a new Vh4 and also a brand new 50th Anniversary Dual Rectifier. Love my Vh4 but it's in the...
Ok so quick update.
So indeed the TC Flashback Delay was defective. I got a new one and stuck it in the loop and it works perfect.
ALSO....I noticed this...
When I kick on the FX loop with the delay I don't really see a tonal change anymore. I have the FX loop knob in the back at noon.
BUT...
Hey thanks for the reply Rev.
Turns out the TC Flashback was broken lol. Went haywire after about 40 days. So I exchanged it and will test it in the loop of the recto tomorrow. Hopefully this one works.
It sucks the the loops in the Recto's are bad. You'd figure they would take the time to...
Hey everyone, long time no post.
I just picked up a 50th Anniversary Dual Rectifier. I normally play a Diezel VH4 but was missing those old tones I loved back in the day and wow does this amp have it.
I am having issues with the FX loop, Loop Level knob and also output knob. The manual really...
