This is not a rant, or question. Just describing how I have this set up and some observations. I'm using the line6 HX Effects in 4-cable method with the Express 5/25+ head. Guitar in -> HX FX in HX FX send -> Express input with this you can put blocks like a compressor, distortion, boost...

The master volumes seem to barely do anything between about 10 o'clock and full up (5 o'clock). It could be normal if these are linear pots. It just strikes me as odd because I don't think my other amp (a Laney L5 Studio) acts this way. Is this expected?

Got one of these a month or two back from Guitar Center. Been using it mostly with a Captor-X loadbox/attenuator. So I rarely put it into a real speaker cabinet on the 25W setting. Since the Captor has a level switch and level knob and goes into a mixer with front end and channel gain...
