Is there any detail around the revisions and how the tone evolved? I have an 83 that I am pretty sure is a 9C, and it’s a wonderful amp. Definitely as metal-capable as I ever expect to need as well.

I’ve found just connecting the loop straight through and giving it a little boost gave some nice extra edge. It’s been a while but there was definitely a step up in that regard by just using the loop as another stage.

Couldn't agree more. It's my first Boogie and blows me away too. I did not expect there to be nearly as much gain as there is.

I just got my IIB, and I love it into the Ox as well. I only use it with headphones really and I’d recommend it with almost no reservations. I do with it could do 48KHz or 96 for use in my recording sessions, but it sounds fantastic with this amp.

Nice collection you have! I was looking at JP-2Cs but just can't swing the cost. For a nice condition IIB under a grand, I thought it was worth joining the club and learning the amp. I'll give both a shot and glad someone's had a good bit of success.
