Open Back 1x12 Cabinet buzz fix?

Bump. So it seems like the buzzing is coming from right dead middle of the rear panel right behind the center of the speaker. Also turns out to be a C# from the low E string that causes the most buzzing. C# on the A string even less. Has anyone had to put some deadening material on the rear...

NAD: Mesa Boogie Mark VII head. WOW

This is the exact, insightful comparison I was looking for. Glad to hear the ice pick is gone with the VII. I use the overall Master Volume knob to help tame the volume of my V90 after I balance each channel's volume. I either do this, or use an attenuator when I am in hard-bypass mode. Do you...

Open Back 1x12 Cabinet buzz fix?

Hi All, I recently acquired a 1x12 Open Back Widebody cabinet. https://images.ctfassets.net/m8onsx4mm13s/2x7ig2DdeVSWa99NcKB1y0/ab5f112b6a6560e54f853a7ea8e72ec1/0.B112W.AB.CO-back.png When I play a specific note (I think it's B on the low E string), it causes the back panel to buzz. If i put...

Sweetwater is showing "new" mesa tubes

Wow what a detailed post. My Mark V90 came stock with the STR441 but I think they're wearing out and making some weird sounds. Do you have any experience with the STR445? I believe those are the stock choice for the Mark Vii. I think I am able to get those locally.

Sweetwater is showing "new" mesa tubes

Would like to hear your opinion of the str448 in the mark v90. Those are the only power tubes I can get for my amp at this moment in my area, but hesitant to commit to a quad set if they're not great.

Mark V 90W - Reverb Noise with Loop Hardbypass

Hello All, I recently picked up a new Mark V 90w after waiting for over a year! I love the amp much more with the extra head room and separate channel 2 for crunch over my 5:35. My issue at the moment is when the amp is set with the effects loop switched to hard bypass. With the channel 1...

    Mark Five 35 GEQ Issue

Hi Everyone I have been having intermittent issues with my 80 Hz slider on my Mark Five:35. I got my amp new and had it for a few months. I am not sure if it was an issue from the start as I have only started experimenting with the GEQ recently. With the GEQ engaged in either channel, whether I...
