    Thanks Stephen, I should have clarified that. The JJ's are apparently better suited for the higher plate voltages than other 6V6's. Played 3 gigs with them in and so far all is well.

    Just drop 'em right in, but make sure to switch the bias to the el34 mode and run it in the tube rectifier mode...at least according to everything I researched and the info I got from eurotubes. I believe you need to use gz34 rectifier tubes (as opposed to the stock 5U4) to get the plate...
