    is it worth it?

I have a 6x10 road ready, and a 2x10 diesel for my bass rig. Used separately because of the ohm load on each cabinet (4ohms) It takes two grown men to unload the RR cab if it has to be lifted. Rolling it off a ramp is no problem. I love the diesel for small gigs. Its small and it light. I can...

Anybody using a road ready bass cab?

I bought a 6x10 R/R cab when I bought my mpulse 600 Its a freaking heavyweight monster. I can't imagine an 8x10. I have an old 2x10 diesel, it nice for small gigs, but it doesn't compare to the 6x10's overall tone. As long as I have some help loading it, I'll take the 6x10 to every gig.

I have a question about the eq on my mpulse 600

Great point on the strings... I never thought about the strings making that much till I used a buddy's bass with stainless steel DRs on them. (same bass I use) The had such a bad after ring/ over tone on them, I didn't like them. I think I'll stick with my ernie balls regular slinky's

    Funk/blues live into 2 tracks @ practice.

Thanks man. On the original tracks the guitar was weak, so we tried to overdub the guitar with little success, there is some bleed through, and kinda made it all muddy. He didn't play the same lead as well.

    In ear monitors

I have found that I don't like in ear monitors. I own the top of the line shure. It just not for me. For some reason I feel a delay of some sort, so I ended up one in and one out, then I sweated the other out, and didn't have any. They only were beneficial if we were on a big stage.
