DC-3 - considering extension cab options

I also use a wide body 3/4 back 1x12 w/C90 with my DC-5 and works out well for me.

I'd like to hear from some Two Rock, Bogner and Fuchs owners

I have a 101B and a Bogner slant 4x12. The only Boogie I own is the DC-5 but I have played various DR's. You can't really compare them, totally differnt animals. Not better but different. I don't play the whole this is better than that game. I like having different amps and tones at my disposal

    Can't stand modern Marshalls!

No diode cliping in the 2203/4's. I have an 83 2203 and it is a great amp. What I find somewhat funy is folks who dog the diode clipping models yet put a stomp box OD in front of it which is just diode clipping in a box :)

    Can't stand modern Marshalls!

huh? I can see most of those that you listed but a JCM800 2203 or 2204 don't fall in the same catagory imho, they are smoking amps that ooze killer tone.

    DC-5 Questions

I dunno where the confusion stems from, the DC Series isn't vintage :) As far as the DC-5 goes, I prefer it over any newer comparable amps from Boogie, primarily the Nomad and F-Series. Its a great amp for the money. Independant ch controls for each ch. It is versatile, nice clean channel...

Have you guys heard of a Studio Series?

The + doesn't mean EQ There are .22's with EQ and there .22+'s w/o EQ.

    Post your Rig!

I love the DC-5, its very versatile. I use it for cleans as well as adding color to recordings by layering different amp voicings. By itself, the DC-5 can cover a lot of ground and has a pretty nice reverb too. What I liked about the DC-5 that the newer models didn't have was the EQ option, you...

    DC-5 loyal users chime up

I pretty sure the only difference between the DC-5 and DC-10 is the addition of 2 power tubes to give it 100 watts vs. 50 watts of the DC-5, pre-amps are identical

So, what amps do you own?

    In addition to the Mesa DC-5 83 JCM 800 2203 VHT Pittbull 50 CL/EQ Bogner Ecstasy 101B I have 4 slanted 4x12's, a Marshall 1960 (G12T75's), a Bogner (V30's), a VHT Fatbottom (P50E's) and a Soldano (V30's)

    caliber models, differences?

Go to the manuals, they have PDF files for the DC-5, DC-3 and a bunch of their older stuff http://www.mesaboogie.com/manuals/user_manuals.htm

    DC-5 loyal users chime up

I have the DC-5 Widebody combo and use it with a 1x12 3/4 back widebody ext cab, both speakes are C90's (pictured below at the far left). I can't say enough good things about that amp either. I have other amps that cost way more but the DC-5 hangs with the best of them. It is simply a great...

    Dual Calibers

The DC-5 is an awesome amp. I bought mine last summer and I love that amp. It can do anything from clean to mean, all around great amp. I paid $550 for my combo and this was the best bang for the buck for an amp. I don't understand why people pay 500 for something that has 1/2 the options and...

    Post your Rig!

Thanks Grandor. Yeah, its a blast having them around :) I run thru a VooDoo Labs amp selctor where I cnahave all 4 on at once or any combination of the 4. It fun having a huge wall of blended sound. Its also cool just going back and forthbetween the 4.
