I've been fiddling about with an MXR Dyna comp which does give some nice fat lead focus - but I'm pretty sure I'm not gonna keep it. Does anyone have any suggestions for it's use - ie where abouts to place it - in front of the amp? - in the loop? Maybe I'm just using it wrong but it strikes...

Hi Guys What kind of level do you play your amps at? I understand the logarithmic nature of hearing – ie a 5 watt amplifier is half the volume of a 50 watt amp – ie there isn’t a massive difference between a 20 & 50 watt amp – good article here BTW...
