I am looking to covert my Mark IV wide combo to a head for weight reasons

I am looking to purchase a recording interface for my mac. I want a 8 channel interface for live recordings for band plus my own songs. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated! Thanks

My family and I made it through the storm safely. A couple trees and a fence fell down, luckily not on my house. Power is back on. Sorry for those who still do not have power. Long Beach Island, near where I live did not fare so well. Luckily my work office located on the island survived.

I had a two holes that remained for a while after I had my wisdom teeth pulled even though my gums healed. It took quite awhile to fill in all the way. If you are not bleeding or do not have any infections you should be good. Best of luck! Jeff

I have a Mark IV B and the volume is very sensitive from 0 to 1.5. You barely have to turn it to go from bedroom to band volume. Hope this helps. Jeff

I use the GEQ depending on the song I am playing. The Mark IV is so versatile that I will get a great clean sound with no GEQ. I use R2 without the GEQ for stones style distortion. I will add the GEQ to get a little fuller sound for heavier classic rock sound (led zeppelin songs). I use the lead...

I run my master just below 2. If I ran it at 3 or 4 it would be way too loud. Since most of the distortion is coming from the preamp tubes I still get a great sound at a moderate level. Best of luck, Jeff

I play a les paul and have no problem with flubbiness on my Mark IV. Mine is a combo, not sure if that makes a difference. I also runs it with a closed 2x12 cabinet. I run my bass very low on all channels. Around 2 or 2 1/2. If I want a deeper bass sound for certain songs I just kick on the eq...

It doesn't matter as long as the tubes are matched sets. The color codes is information to match the tubes at the mesa factory. I am sure someone can explain this better. It has been discussed before on this forum, so try some searching. Best of luck, Jeff
