I'm having the exact same problem with my hardwood Lonestar. My amp has about 20hrs on it. I'm getting the same signal loss with the loop engaged. I swapped the V3 tube with another Mesa tube(brand new). Same problem. All me levels are set they way they should be, I'm not sure why this problem...

how about go to the store and play the Boogie's that they have? All of this guitar gear "chatter" is just user opinions more or less. What sounds good to you may sound awful to the next. hit the store and play til you find what you like, it may not even be a Boogie!

Just got back from my local GC in Albany,NY and was talking with the one of the managers. Over the next 2 weeks, GC will no longer make deals on gear anymore. He said what ever gear will be tagged for is the final price. They are trying to sell for the lowest price that works out for customers...
