hey all, this is a noob question but I was wondering what order I put my el34's into my mesa roadster? theres 4 tubes spots and I put my tubes in this order the first matched set into spots 1 and 2 left to right then the second set in spot 3 and 4 left to right played at a low volume okay...

I've had the same problem, then i found a video on youtube done by Mark Tremonti, from alter bridge.. considering he has a great tone, and his sound is 80% his mesa boogie amp. plus he does rythem and lead sounds without using a tube screamer.. you bought a 3000.00$ amp you don't need pedals...

****... i know this is a mesa site, and i have a roadster, but i really liked that first clip the best, just had that killer sound... then to find out later its a krank... sweet , may i ask what are your settings on your mesa clip??

I use my Mt-2 about once every 6 months, but yeah like they said it's just to add more "Colors". I didn't buy the wrong amp, playing live for the past 15 years, i'm pretty sure i got the right one, i just never tried or learned how to layer a pedal, i've always used amp distortion. thanx...

OKay first of all, yeah there seems to be a pop when switching from one channel to another at first, try to play for about 5 mins in each channel warm up all the tubes then switch between it will soften the pop sound -------------- They are balenced for my rythem parts, the clean channel...

I always wondered, if you ever need more distortion how do you layer a boss MT-2 over you amps distortion channel without ruinning the sound??

oh yeah and you can get that back leather look to it, or the regular diamond plate look, I have the black leather look, and love it

All i can't say then , is buy a Dual rectifier Roadster. you will be very impressed.
