    Bass Cabs 2x12 or 1x15

Well I could say that the Mesa 4x10 and 1x15 combination is killer. Don't forget when you get out into space having that nice punch from the 15 is a blessing.

Advice on a Floating Trem Guitar

I never had a problem with a Fender 2 point trem. As long as you have them set right they work flawlessly and do not go out of tune.

Any Mesa that can pull off the JTM-45 thing?

Well a JTM 45 is basically a Fender Bassman circuit so right away I am thinking big and clean with lots of clean headroom. So I would have to say that the Electrodyne clean channel would get you closest.

Played a Transatlantic yesterday for a couple hours

If you put a 25 watt amp on a large stage with a loud drummer and a loud PA your stage volume is going to get sucked up. I can almost guarantee it. Especially if it is a large stage outdoors.

To hell with the efx loop !!!! I am going to plop my Vintage Echoplex right in front of it just like Jimmy Page, Joe Walsh, Jimmy Hendrix , Tommy Bolin and probably numerous other guitar gods did.

Played a Transatlantic yesterday for a couple hours

If it was designed to keep up with a heavy hitting drummer it would have been 200 watts not 25.......... . This is a nice little parlor amp something that you could plug in at home and enjoy nice bubbly El84 jangle, or nice low wattage recording sessions with. Also a nice little...
