    Got a mini Rec...

Anyone here try any of the new Mesa OD's? How about the Blackstone OD?

    Got a mini Rec...

Like you AB I'veowned many great amps. I really am a late comer to the Mesa Rectifier but it is definetly the amp for my needs. I also find the Dual Rec thru a 2x12 to be the better tone combination. Its closer to the recorded tones I hear from Rectifiers... it's got the lows and highs with...

    Got a mini Rec...

... and yeah it's awsome... I've got the matching slant cab but admit it's far better through a recto 2x12 cab. I'll be gigging and recording with it because to be honest after owning a Roadking halfstack, Roadster 2x12 and still own a Dual Rec the mini rec if voiced just right for my liking and...

    Changed up my rig... Roadster

good point but with the 3 channel dual rec and the roadster 2x12 plus the 2x12 cab I'm pretty happy with the tones and flexibility. I found I used the 4x6L6 the most on the roadking. I do miss the C90 for sure but it's fading quick :)

    Mesa Boogie 4x12 or 2 2x12's ? sound difference?

+1 on what kdorsey said... sure a 4x12 is a 4x12 and so on but at the end of the day the Mesa tone stack is very versitile... I just changed out my rig after a year with a Roadking half stack to a Roadster 2x12 combo and a 2x12 recto cab... there is very little difference... sure there is...

    Changed up my rig... Roadster

For the last year I have been using a Roadking II halfstack... what a great amp... trouble is gigging locally it takes up a lot of real estate plus it's big and bulky to move around... not that I mind moving it but hey if I can reduse the size and not sacrifice tone I'm in. After some...

Mini Rec and Used Dual Rec same price...

Lots of sound guys hate half stacks because... 0ne) they loose control over the rigs volume two) half stacks at stage level point sraight out into the listening area and therefore are very directional... many guys put combos on stands and they point upwards towards their ears therefore they...

    pre 500: substance or hype?

I can definetly hearmore bass and a different mid curve between the pre and post mod Triple Rec... both are great tones... I still hear fizz in the pre 500 though. Thanks for posting. I find with the Roadking a lot happens in the first quarter turn of the Bass dial which ultimatly has a say in...

    pre 500: substance or hype?

It's a bit of the dont know what you got till it's gone combined with boredom and the thrill is in the chase is'nt it. My buddy has an old 2 channel 1992 ( I believe ) Dual Rec and yes it is a great amp... I got the most recent Roadking and a 07 Dual Rec 3 channel Solo head. I can get really...

Mini Rec and Used Dual Rec same price...

Well said... I tried several Mesa's before I got the Roadking... Mini, Single, Dual, and Triple rec, Roadster, Stilletto, Trans Atlantic, Eltra Dyne, Mark... everything. I went with the Roadking not because I felt it sounded better than the others... they all sound great and have great...

Mini Rec and Used Dual Rec same price...

In another post here I talked about this very thing. I bought a 3 channel Dual Rec in 9 out of 10 condition for $750 as a back up for my Roadking live rig. The mini amps are helping bring the price down it seems... cool!

3 Channel Dual Rec Solo Head

Hi guys... I decided the Express was not enough so I picked up a Dual Rec for a backup head to the Roadking. It's abeast unto it's own... and a great amp. I know there is lots of discussion on the variosu era/version of the Dual rec... this one is a 2006 in 9 out of 10 condition and i got it for...
