when I plug a cord into my FX return on the Quad the volume drops down by atleast %50 , Is this normal...When I use the effects the volume drop is WAY down. The volume drops if there is also just a cord plugged in with the other end open. Any Ideas ?

I just noticed when I am using the Lead 2, that when I pull the deep knob on Channel One Mid my tone changes.However if I pull the same knob on channel 2 it does not do anything..... Lead 2 is supposed to be controlled entirely by channel 2 , correct ? Wierd..any ideas ?
