    Class A impedance question is this safe for my amp

    If you are talking about the Mark III, the answer is: no, you do not need to alter anything to run in "Class A". But running out of the 4 ohm speaker jack will yield a smaller, more compressed sound with less presence. Flip that switch, crank that Master, and RAWK!

    Deal breaker?

    OK, someone please correct me if I'm wrong. It seems to me, from reading the manual, that when switching between the "modes" within a given channel, the gain and tone controls must be tweaked to optimize the tone of that particular mode. Doesn't this just put us back to the much-fabled square...
