It's been a few months. Still dig the Maverick. Even moreso after some serious tweaking and time. But, I'm still after something a little heavier. Would really dig a Stiletto Ace head.

None of my old 2 channel Dual Rectifiers were fizzy. Very clear and articulate. But the 3 channel pre reborn was almost unusable in my opinion. Cool amp though. Plenty of features, but fizzy. I really can't recommend finding an old 2 channel enough.

I like it but I'm not totally sold on it for what I'm trying to do. I'll probably hang on to it and get rid of my Hotcake but I think I'd like something a little more tailored to this amp. If that makes any sense.

I'm looking for something to add girth and gain for tasteful "chugging" riffs. Not metal or anything, just a heavier sound without sounding flubby.

Getting a Maverick 1x12 combo in a trade this weekend. I've owned other Boogies (Stiletto, 2 and 3 channel Dual rectifier, Mark IV) but not the Maverick. Tube screamer types are usually the go to for the Dual/Triple Rectifier, but what are you Maverick owners using? Thanks!

It works fine out front, but as you know, it sounds like butt with any sort of distortion. When it's in the loop it sounds fine for a second and then this huge, whirring helicopter noise starts.

Really? That's weird. The master on the front of the amp?

So... what do I have to do to use my Carbon Copy through this thing? All of my other pedals do just fine with it, but not the Carbon Copy. Can anyone explain why that is??

My first Stage II was a custom piece made for the owner of the small town shop I used to go to. I really loved the looks of that one, but I came full circle and found myself with a standard Stiletto Deuce II. Great amps.
