Add a low pass filter around 10k or so in your recording software. That should get rid of quite a bit of the fizz. BTW your tone sounds pretty good.

I have the Rectoverb Series 2 Combo and I have plenty enough gain. Most of the time I dont even use my gain to halfway. BTW in case your wondering I play metal as well.

I actually like my tone without the overdrive. I kind of like the looser sounding tone. I guess that may just be me though. I like to keep things simple for the most part.

Not very much hum at all. Even with cranking the volume pretty high there isnt much hum. I dont even use my Noise Suppressor with this amp.
