100% true - I have it from the horses mouth and our UK distributor that there are absolutely no plans to alter the Mark IV, revise it or scrap it. The distributor went as far as to say they will NEVER stop Mark IV production as it is too successful. Brian :) (IN THE U.K.)

I got mine from Watford Valves in the UK

In my Mark IV I use a pair of JJ EL34's (blue :) ) in the outer sockets and a pair of small bottle JAN/PHILLIPS NOS Military Spec 6L6's. This combo I can't recommend enough - it is simply superb. So rich yet so alive it's MEGA!! Brian ;)

Mesa? Eurotubes?

Remember there are specific modes you need to run 6V6's in compared to the other valves in the amp. Try Bob at http://www.eurotubes.com for great advice and maybe some better tubes at a better price than the Mesa ones - unless your amp is still under warranty? Remember to buy a spare...
