    I've done it. It works fine. One thing to keep in mind...If you plan to use the return as an input for another preamp, you need to plug a dummy plug into the Send Jack to open the loop.

    Anybody use an EQ in the loop of F-Series???

    The effects loop on the F-Series is also +4 dB reference level. It is possible that the MXR 10 band eq has a -10 dB reference level. This being the case, the amp's effects loop in overdriving the eq's input.
