FS: Mesa Mark IV B Head

Hey Jon! Funny story man, I actually traded it to another local person for a bogner shiva head. I had that for a good amount of time, and I guess the other guitar player was unable to try and sell the IV so he called me up almost a year later and wanted to trade back :O Luckily enough for...

FS: Mesa Mark IV B Head

What? I ordered the mark IV full retube kit from eurotubes. They work perfectly fine. You can swap between EL-34 and 6L6 so long as you only put a pair in the outer sockets. I have since replaced those power tubes with all 6L6's and I prefer this, although I will include the 34's in the sale!

FS: Mesa Mark IV B Head

I'm going to stand by the fact that it is a 1993 for the time being. I know it is a very early B because it still has the attached power cord. The serial number is IV-007191 - if that means anything to you.

FS: Mesa Mark IV B Head

Hey everyone, The time has come, and it breaks my heart - to put my Mark IV Head on the market. I haven't posted here in well over a year, but I'm glad I remembered abou the boogie board. This amp has served me very well since I acquired it in a trade for my Trem-O-Verb and I've been in a...

    Post your Rig!

They are the 5" model Beam Blockers. This was previously my TOV and Cab that was traded to ToneAddictJon. He's completely right that they even out the V30's. They also make the cab omni-directional. So you can hear yourself better around the stage - and not send an icepick of treble to the...

    Tremoverb noob questions

the blues channel will be louder (to your ears) because of the amount of mids that channel puts out and, the Loop Active Master - when engaged - becomes the true master volume. Allowing you to set the orange and red channels at any level or gain setting you want. pretty neat! Oh while i'm...

Can a Tremoverb be converted to 50 Watts? Eeek!

nomad is correct, you may pull two of the power tubes (preferably the inner pair) and also you MUST also pully one rectifier tube - This will bring your Tverb to 50 watts. And again like nomad said, you must halve the impedence of the cab output you are using. 16ohm cab gets plugged into 8ohm...

New Tubes coming!!! (and Yellow Jacket question)

just to let everyone know how these new tubes sound... I'ts never sounded better! Its like an entirely new amp! I'm going to try moving the sovtek lps to the v1 postion later, to see if it improves the sound anymore, but I dont think it could - as it sounded so good I was GASing for my own...

    Mesa people let history remain

I've always seen people use the acronym FDR for fender deluxe reverb. And a not to be vain, but since this IS a mesa/boogie forum, shouldn't we decide how to shorten the names of our MESA amps?
