    The first prototype Dual Rectifier.

no, it was only test chassis, the mark IV prototype was also built into that chassis (and then the recto prototype)

Recommend a delay that does not suck tone out of my mark v

if you don't have the money for tc nova delay, then get a tc nova repeater, it's also great delay for the money. I'm using eventide time factor

    Dual Recto 2ch advice

ME! I don't want to kill myself or destroy the amp if somebody was doing "something" in the amp - for example rewired the PT from 110 to 220V and forgot to unplug the ground lift switch, which can cause the amp damage when turned in wrong position, here in Europe. I just want to be sure what I'm...

    Dual Recto 2ch advice

Hello, I'm interested in 2ch older dual recto, I was told it's '94, R-002422, BlackFace/Chrome chasis. It has serial loop and also ground lift switch and that's interesting because it should be an EU version. could someone please tell me some more info about the amp? I'm concerning it's a USA...

    Best way to connect 2 pre-amps > G Major 2 > 2:90 ?

sorry, it shouldn't sound like that, but IMHO you weren't right with your single processor theory. I think that your problem was coused by different design of the fx loops in different preamps, that was the whole magic.

    Best way to connect 2 pre-amps > G Major 2 > 2:90 ?

sorry, no flame...but... are you sure, that you're right that the problem was G-Major.I didn't try this set up, but your explanation of single processor seems to be little bit...stupid. first, I don't think TC should sell the unit with stereo I/O which it's not able to do stereo processing...

    Best way to connect 2 pre-amps > G Major 2 > 2:90 ?

yes, that right, but he didn't wrote if he want to use the preamps separately or at same time. my idea was for 2 preamps running simultaneously, as the g major is able to operate in stereo with it's stereo I/O :)

    Best way to connect 2 pre-amps > G Major 2 > 2:90 ?

what about wiring left side with one preamp in the signal chain and right side with the other preamp? Then you need only A/B box or something like that to split the signal from guitar into 2 ways to feed both preamp's

    Diezel VH4 versus Mesa gear

I don't want to start flamewar, but I bet you aren't right :) As I know, recto channel is "british" circuit, it means tone controls after all gain stages. Recto's (now I mean whole amp, not only one channel) have tone controls before gain stages only in the clean channel (except 2ch Rectos which...

    Diezel VH4 versus Mesa gear

not all Mesa amps have tone stacks before gain stages. Only the Mesa amps with "mark circuit" (mark's, lonestar, triaxis..), Recto's have tone stack after gain stages, like all higain amps with "british circuit", also like Diezel VH4 have.

    Post your rig part 2

what does make you feel good and happy? Owning the lot of expensive gear or music and playing your instrument? (leave the fact, that playing with realy good gear, which is in most cases expensive, does make you feel better, than playing with bad gear)

  18. 4

    Well It's not a real Mark 5, but close . . .

did you try this? http://translate.google.com/translate?prev=hp&hl=sk&u=http%3A%2F%2Fpedroneamps.blogspot.com%2F&sl=pt&tl=en&swap=1 maybe not perfect translation, but it should be enough to understand what's written there. btw it looks cool, very nice work

Mesa Boogie Mark V in Europe [price inside]

but I dont think it'll make about 1000Euros or dollars difference compared to the US prices. Boogies are little bit overpriced in Europe, maybe because boutique hype arroud them in Europe :)
