    TA 15 mods?

While not really a mod, I've been running a Mullard ECC83s in V1 and then just a couple JJ long plates after that. For power tubes I found some RCA 8BQ5s and while the heater current is a bit lower they sound great! It's really smooth and sounds like it's a 100 watt amp trying to get out of...

    Best cab for TA15?

I have a 90s vertical Mesa 2x12 half back with the metal grill and it sounds great! It sounds good with any amp really but the TA sounds HUGE through that cab! I'm running a Heritage G12H30 and a Made in British V30 (chinese V30s sound about the same if you're wondering).

Heavy Rock with Lonestar Classic - Possible?

Anything is possible with a good fuzz pedal. The Lonestar has enough grind to it for rhythm and then just punch a Tubescreamer or something for the overdrive.

    SOLD!! please delete.

Someone did snap it up and drove 4 hours each way to do it. Just for reference I sold it for $525 and he was very pleased with the monsterous tone. In fact, I put the original speakers back in to sell it and forgot how punchy those EVMs sounded.... I thought the Vintage purples...

    Can Boogies be addictive?

Absolutely! Out of all the amps that I've owned over the years, I've had the most Boogies! I can't even start to remember them all, but I'll try... MkIII Red - wasn't crazy about it. MkIII Green - I really liked this one and John Mellencamp bought it.... well his tech did the transaction...

    Hi1 on TA15 just ROCKS!

I love it too, it's an amazing amp. Really just about all the channels sound great! My rig is an EJ Strat straight into the Mesa and into a vertical metal grill Mesa 2x12 with Celestion G12M 20W Heritage greenbacks. It's just a tone to die for! Oh yeah, I'm running old British...

    SOLD!! please delete.

This is a cab that's seen an easy life inside a studio. It looks pretty close to a new cab. It has both birch panels for the back so you can run it fully closed, half open (top or bottom) or wide open for a variety of tone options. I'll sell it with the original EV Black Shadows and MC90s...

    Midrange mod on TA-15

I liked mine so much that I picked up another one just for a backup. I put some NOS !2AX7s and EL84s in the first one and wow, what a crazy great difference!!

Mesa Boogie Heartbreaker Head .... SOLD!! Please delete.

Up for grabs is a minty Mesa Heartbreaker head. They are not that easy to come across any more, particularly in NOS condition. I am the second owner since 2005 and this amp to my knowledge hasn't ever been gigged or beat on. No tears, no flaws and still delivers the goods. So, what is a...

Mesa MkIII footswitch by Voodoo Man

At one time I had two Mesa MkIII amps and they were great but I moved on to other stuff. One thing I kept in case I ever bought another MkIII is the Voodoo Man foot switch. Well, it's time to let her go to someone who will actually use it. It's great being able to use all functionality of...
