Recording questions - two channels, one take

There may be some timing issues. How does each part of the track sound by itself? Usually double tracking flattens things up, two at the same exact time usually just makes it louder.

Mine did that so I pulled and reseated all the tubes. It fixed it for me.

Load box Mesa V - Silent recording ... using IRs

I am not finding a lot here. Perhaps I am not using the right search terms. I love my MK V, and like to record with it. I usually mic up one of my 2x12's (Emi V12s) and go. However, my family has decided I need a silent recording alternative. I have no issues with it at lower volumes, but...

Do Mkv:25 settings translate to 90w version?

I too think pretty close. There will be some variation but it is not huge to me.

    Mark V:35 Review and thoughts

I have the big V and a V25. I really like them both. They similar but different. I have been using the V25 for silent recording of late and really like it in that context.

Cab Clone from V:25. We miss you dad.

My father passed away Dec. 25, 2016. At the time I recorded a simple 12 bar blues piece in tribute. The plan was/is to use the bass and drum parts to record it "fresh" each year in his memory. This is the one for this year. Description of equipment in the first 2 links. Essentially, for here...

First time Boogie owner. Mark V 35 Combo

I have not used the loop on my big V much but did use my V25 loop a far bit this summer, primarily with delay. I run a DD7 or DD6 generally as I like what they do and the feature sets. They worked well for me. The Cab Clone, to me, though maligned by some folks, has been pretty usable for me...

Mark V35 headphone jack vs mixer headphone jack

I run the XLR to my audio interface or a board and use headphones. It works great. I never spent time on the phones out.

Help me choose a mark V!

I have a full V and a V25. I like them both. If I wanted for a smaller venue and home the V:25 with silent recording/play option is great. The max in versatility is the big V. Killer clean ,just breaking and mid gain in addition to the high gain they are noted for by many with both.
