Holiday travel, may have a chance...

world of music is where I used to go to check out new mesa gear but I'm not sure they are a current dealer. Mesa no longer lists them on their website. I'll have to pop over to see what's going on. I'm hoping one of the artists I play with will book a show in a city where there's a good mesa...

Holiday travel, may have a chance...

Thanks for the update. I'm glad you were able to play one. I, like you, have my RA dialed into my liking with my speakers and a good tube cocktail for my needs. The added presence control and voicing switches are tempting with the TC50. I always feel the blue on the RA is bright until I...

Very intrigued to hear more comparisons (as they come in) with the Royal. Really hoping Bandit grabs one soon and will weigh in

Roadster help - Spongy Hum and speaker "thump" - thoughts?

I run my amps on a furman voltage regulator which works great. My royal Atlantic is more prone to buzz for sure but not hum (like I was expiriencing with the roadster.) Got the call back from the tech and here was the synopsis: had a leaky cap in the channel 1 tonestack casuing the campfire...

Roadster help - Spongy Hum and speaker "thump" - thoughts?

The thump stays consistent through guitar and cable changes. I've got the amp at a mesa the here in Nashville going through it

Roadster help - Spongy Hum and speaker "thump" - thoughts?

Hey friends, looking for a little guidance. I recently traded for a Roadster from a forum member and I'm learning the quirks of this particular amp and am thinking something may have happened during shipping. The amp is running JJ EL34L's and Tungsol 12ax7 in V1. My problem(s)- -when I...

Mesa Mark V head w/EL-34's for sale or trade for multi-watt

Awesome. We have a similar taste in tube cocktails. I did some research and the roadster chassis is the same as the reborn, which is good news. I'm in the same boat, looking For something different. Where are you located and do you have any pics handy. Thanks!

Mesa Mark V head w/EL-34's for sale or trade for multi-watt

Possibly.... I really need the small chassis of the new reborns as my amp rack is on the small side....but The roadster is tempting Is yours a head?

Who has a cab clone and likes it?

I use a cab clone in a stereo setup with radial prodigy(Jdx with active EQ). I really, really like the cab clone with mesa amps.

Mesa Boogie Mark V 25 and Earthquaker Devices Crimson Drive

The Crimson drive is a great unsung pedal indeed, and just loves pushing tube amps. very cool pedals!

Cabclone with in ear monitors question

There is a definite learning curve hearing your moved cab so isolated in your ears vs the amp in a room sound. The cab clone and other cab sims have an even more forward sound than a mixed cab, which will take some getting used to

    Anyone using the Eventide H9?

I've used the h9 successfully in the fx loops of several amps pretty much since Eventide released it. Very powerful unit and works great, especially in a midi oriented environment.

IS Reverb On MK V Pre Or Post Effects Loop ?

Indeed. I inevitably now have a small spring reverb pedal that lives last in my fx loop chain.

Recto Reborn - Vintage mode - Channel 2

GAS indeed! :!: I have owned two Tremoverb's in the past at different times and really liked them but the weight was tough. I am getting the recto itch again that the MArk V just is not scratching. I think its time for a new reborn!

    Mark V knobs

I dig this!! Tthe one tiny irritation about the rectifers for me personally are the chrome knobs in low light situations. Solid solution!
