I love Green Vox Top-Boost channel too. The Red Fang was made for that channel. It has beautiful yet gritty cleans. Truly an incredible amp that can do anything it seems.

Thanks for doing that exercise. I agree as it mirrors my experience with the TA15. +1000 on the versatility of the TA series.

I have a TA15 and the Hi1 Marshall and Hi2 Boogie modes are exactly like yours....Hi1 is more aggressive but the differences are indeed nuanced and subtle.

I would suggest simply pairing the TA15 with an revamp/attenuator FX loop...you won’t have the mids tone control tho.... I’m thinking 100 watt Badcat Unleash or the Power Station.

I am used to traditional tube amps and tube layouts. I LOVE my TA15 and would like to roll some good English and USA ax7s in her. Are the tubes dedicated to model like is V1 Vox, v2 tweed, v3 HI1/2 and v4 the PI? Does anyone know? Cause I’ll use Mullards on the English modes and some Sylvania...

Ok...first impressions.... Vox mode is what I bought the amp for and it didn't disappoint. I live the clean chime of Normal and the jangly cleanish grit of TB. Perfect. Tweed is not tweed. I have several tweed amps and it sounds like a BF Fender to me...which I don't have so...BONUS there...

I played her today for 20 minutes to check out all the modes....WOW what an incredibly versatile amp! This is gonna be fun!

Woohoo! My first Mesa is coming this way! I have lots of nice amps in the Fender/Marshall dept but no Mesa or Vox....and the TA15 will fill that niche! Cannot wait to crank her through a Red Fang alnico 1x12, an EV SRO coffee can alnico 1x12, and a 2x12 with v30s! Will report back once it...
