    developed noise in Mark V at startup

    When I first power on my Mark V, I get some crackling and whooshing. It's still there with input cable removed, so not external source. It's present on all channels, more noticiable as power settings go up from 10->45->90W. Seems to be on all modes, at least in channel 1 - didn't try them all on...

    6L6 vs. EL-34 in Mark V

    I'm curious if anyone has tried fresh 6L6's vs. fresh EL-34's in their Mark V? I watched a comparison video and other than the cleans sounding slightly fatter with the 6L6's, it didn't seem like much of a difference.
