What Mesa has the best cleans?

Curious to know how you'd tend to describe the difference between the clean tones of the Cali Tweed vs the Express.

What Mesa has the best cleans?

Well, my totally subjective view of the Mesa with the best cleans is my relatively diminutive Mesa Express 5:25 Plus - totally subjective in no small part because it's my first and only Mesa, so no real basis for comparison against any of the others. I find its range is extremely versatile...

    Express series being cancelled?

That's been my understanding as well. So very glad I bought my Express 5:25+ when I did. In my view, nothing else in the Mesa line beats it for versatility.

    NAD 5:50+

Love my Express 5:25+. It's pretty much the most tonally flexible amp I've ever played around with, virtually this side of a modeling amp - but without any of a modeling amp's myriad (digital, etc...) downsides. Though to get there with it, you do need to put aside usual preconceived notions...

    Mesa Newbie here...

    Mesa Newbie here...

I'm a newly activated Boogie Board member. Just placed an order a few days ago for an "Express 5:25+ 1x12" combo in Emerald Bronco/Black Jute.... Reading this board was very informative and helpful as I was getting ready to pull the switch on this, my first Mesa. Until now, my amps have mostly...
