The Mark 1 reissue can be had if you look around. I picked one up last year for $800. I have heard mixed reviews about comparisons with original Mk 1s, so I won't go down that road. But I love the cleans on mine.

I'm thinking of changing the power tubes of a Mark 1 Reissue to 6V6s. Has anybody else done this? Expectations? Brand choices? Thanks in advance

There is a Facebook group related to Mesa Boogie. JT, from Mesa Hollywood reported the delays. I posted on this site, one as a way to factcheck, and two, to ask above question. I don't have a dealer close by, nor do I have one on order, so I don't have any skin in the game.

I'd suggest the second hand market. Earlier LP studios used 490r/498t pick ups & can be had for $7-900. I was able to pick up a 2013 studio tribute Future (Goldtop) with 57 Classic pick ups, Grovers (changed out from stock robots), Shaller strap locks and an SBK case for $700 from a dealer. I'm...

The verdict is in. The contacts in the return side of the effects loop is the culprit. Noticeable dust in the Jack was discovered and cleaned. Mesa recommend da putting contact cleaner on a jack and running it in and out a few times periodically to keep it tidy.
