Exactly! I was playing few days ago and as I’m currently without my FX unit, I was playing amp only and was trying reverb on/off to see which I like most and then tried the FX loop and again, there is a difference in the tonality, I don’t like this, I don’t think an amp this level / quality...

I wonder if someone else noticed this, when engaging the built in reverb, the sound changes, become a little more compressed, it's like a mid cut, some of the frequencies in the middle feels like backing down, its noticed specially on the blue channel and a little on the red.

When I bought the TC-50, I ran it with what I had at home at the time which was two 2x12 (not Mesa). Anyway, the tone was a little fizzy for me and I thought that’s the way the amp sounds and almost sold it but then I got a Recto 4x12 OS and oooo yes! That was it! I play the TC with the 4x12 only.

I bought this amp new around 4 months ago, it was very little used, home use only, got maybe 15 hours of playing on this guy. Amp is 100% new!!! got all documents etc. and will include the footswitch, cover and all. You can read more here...

I use my TC50 together with FRACTAL AX8 in 4CM runing via midi, amp sound + FX from the FRACTAL, all clicking togther and when i swich a preset over the AX it also calls the desired channel over the TC. Works very good.
