Just a few general comments or opinion of the Badlander 100W

Thanks! Unfortunately, there are no Mesa dealers at all in my country. Tbh there are barely any offline music stores in my country at all, only online stores, and none of them carry Mesa so I would need to import (not that big of an issue, but you can obviously not try them out beforehand and...

Just a few general comments or opinion of the Badlander 100W

Is the BL100 (or even the BL50) worth it compared to the BL25? I get it that the higher wattage gives higher headroom and more "oomph", but in the comparisons I've heard, the difference doesn't seem to be that significant. Feature wise, the only difference is that the 50 and 100 has the...

    Mark V or Badlander

If he bought new, I doubt he got it. Mesa haven't been available in Europe for over 2 years now. On their Instagram, they are saying that they will come back to Europe after summer, but at this point, I would not get my hopes up yet. Also worth keeping in mind is that the prices since 2021 have...

    Mark V 25w Mini Head

Glad to hear. Is the hotplate (I assume that's an attenuator?) required for it to sound good at low volumes or will it be fine without it? How do you record "direct" with the Mark V if not going via a mic?

    Mark V 25w Mini Head

I was under the impression that the Cab Clone essentially replaces the cab, meaning it is after the entire amp in the signal chain, so it takes the signal after the power tubes. Is this incorrect?

    Mark V 25w Mini Head

Most of the time I will want to play through an actual cab but at low volume. Only rarely I will want to play through headphones. I will want easy recording to computer though without mic so Cab Clone will be needed if Mark V since it doesn't have it built-in.

    Mark V 25w Mini Head

What I meant with the Cab Clone was to enable easier recording without the need for a mic seeing as I don't have a mic, just going straight out of the D.I. into a soundcard, into the computer DAW :) However, now that Cab Clone has come up, wouldn't it be possible to go from Mark V -> Cab Clone...

    Mark V 25w Mini Head

So a Mark V paired with the Cab Clone will be better suited for bedroom level/apartment friendly volumes than the Mark V:25? And this is due to the Output knob? So basically, crank the Master volume on the channel and then lower the Output volume from the amp?

    Mark V 25w Mini Head

So which is better for low volume playing (e.g. bedroom level); Mark V or Mark V:25? Would love for more demos of this little amp and what it can do. Loved the type of demo JP did of original Mark V.
