    Yep, power tubes. They were finally failing more consistently. Weird, seemed to be both. I replaced one at a time which didn't work. Not till I replaced both, did it correct the problem.

    Thanks. That's what I thought I'd do as well. Start with the power tubes. Since it's so delayed and intermittent, trouble shooting will take awhile, and probably a few more rehearsals. Glad we don't have a gig coming up immediately. A tube tester would be awesome!

    Well I reconfigured my pedal board for the Rectoverb 25 head, so I guess I'm ready for the Mark V 25. I added a clean boost pedal in the effects loop so I could get a solo boost in high gain mode. I also added a Catalinbread 5F6 foundation drive for that sweet, just breaking up tweed tone. But...

    Wow, wow, wow. I didn't think we'd see this. Got the email today. Mesa is definitely not sitting on their laurels, given the excellent products already released the past couple years. This is almost my dream gigging amp. And I just got a Rectoverb 25 to sit in for my Mark V on tight stages...

    Caster upgrade to fit Track-Loc plates

    Aloha All, I spent many hours scouring the internet and finally found some rubber 3" casters with the right size swivel plate to fit the Mesa Track-Loc plates. I didn't want the hard phenolic wheels, which rattle and shake your tubes while rolling over crunchy parking lots, beat up sidewalks...
