What have you been doing lately?

I sold my Boogie guitar amps a few years back, so I haven't been on here in forever. I recently started playing bass, consequently, I now own a Mesa Subway TT-800 and a 15 inch Mesa bass cab.

    Blown Speaker in Lonestar Classic

I'm thinking of putting an Eminence Texas Heat in there. I just want to get it working decent and try to put it up for sale, got too many amps. Been playing it thru my EV15L and it sure is sounding pretty nice, though. Thanks for the replies, guys.

    Blown Speaker in Lonestar Classic

Was playing along trying to determine why my amp sounded like it was ghosting since I got it back from the repair shop when the sound just quit altogether. Hooked up to a EV15 and sounded good, so I guess the Black Shadow is history. What's a good replacement, and who puts a 90 watt speaker in a...

    Question For The Lonestar Owners

There's no guitar plugged in, and the volume on the amp is all the way up. I made a quick video of it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OAmV6KNLNjo

    Question For The Lonestar Owners

It's quiet as long as I don't touch the top. How I noticed it, I rested my hand on there to lean down and turn the volume up. Did both of you try putting your hand on top to see if there was any amount of hum at all? Pretty strange, just resting my hand on there makes it hum, right about...

    Question For The Lonestar Owners

So, it's a long story, but I just got my 1X12 Lonestar back from the shop today. What I noticed, and don't remember from about 2 years ago the last time I used it: If I put my hand on the top of the amp around the handle, it develops a hum. When I touch one of the handle screws, the hum stops...

Is there a boutique amp that sounds better than the LSC

Don't know about boutique, but a Super Reverb is pretty hard to beat.
