DC-3 red plating and squealing
How old are those EL84's? Have you tried a new set? I would think that's the place to start. If new tubes don't help, I reckon you'll have to take it to an amp tech. And you'll have a backup set of tubes. Let us know what the outcome is.- IceTre

Anybody running a DC-3 on two output tubes?
Greetings, I have a 35W Mesa/Boogie Dual Caliber DC-3 that I bought in 1997. Even though it has individual volume controls for each channel and a master volume, I've found that the tone is rather thin and uninteresting at low volumes, especially for the clean channel. Once I can get the...- IceTre
