I've used mine both in front and in the loop of my Recto...works well although I prefer it in the loop...when I use it in front I usually boost some mids for solos to compensate for a slight mid cut for my rhythm tone...it's pretty quiet in both places

Is your Strymon in true bypass or buffered bypass? Might be a buffer issue. Does it happen if you swap the order of your Flint/Mesa? I found so dirt pedals like a buffer after them and that can cause volume drops(at least I've experienced that in my rigs from time to time)

I use my old WF RAT in the clean channel of my Dual Rec(I know not exactly the same as a mini) with great results....I like to have it set for that super sustainy, Ebow like, neck PU sound...works great...you pretty much can't go wrong with a RAT

I've been using my short head LSC 50/100 for years with 2 compact 1x12's(Openback with a C90 and Thiele with an EV)...sounds insane...many amps have come and gone over the years but nothing can take down that combination...probably the best amp I've had in my 30+years of playing...

I've used mine bunch with my Mark III and Mark I(as well as Lonestar Classic)…sounds great with all of them…the KOT is a pretty amp friendly pedal…I've found very few pedals don't sound good with my Boogies…some old school fuzzes don't sound that great sometimes but thats about it...

sounds like its a bad jack on either the send or return of the FX Loop…seems like its not closing all the way and when you put the dummy cable in there it opens it up(if that makes sense)… regarding the reliability of the LSC 50/100…I've been gigging regularly(including touring)with mine for...
