Nice job. I really like my Theile with the C90 and the mini recto cab with the V30 combo for my Mark V:25. I think mixing cabs is the way to go with these amps!

The heavy rhythm tone that made me always lust after a Mark was Pete Leoffler's (from Chevelle) tone. He's been using a Mark IV for a long time, though I think he's started using V's in recent years. I love that focused attack.

I think the Stiletto could be great for what you want - it can be a bit bright but either cranking the power amp or rolling the treble and presence back keeps it from sounding harsh and doesn't muffle the tone. It's a very versatile amp.

Throttle Box is a little more of a Recto type voicing so it should be a nice tonal option, especially with using the EQ to shape it. It's like having an extra amp channel!

Not running into this with the Mark or the stand alone cabclone. Hopefully Mesa will help ya out.
