Post your rig - part 3

Broke as f*** so short on high-gain amps to get my thrash on. But my favorite proverb is this: It's a poor worker who blames their tools I made this killer track by sampling a marketing video from UA. I've produced several LPs worth of quality music with the scraps in front of me. They're...

Any Rectifier Recording owners who can advise me?

I experienced rack hell once - but it wasn't Mesa's fault - it was Fractal Audio's fault. I spent so much time and so much money trying to find that promised land. A Rec Pre and a 20/20 should rock just fine. How complex you want to make your setup is up to you my friend. The quest for tone is a...

I’m new here. Looking to make some new Mesa Boogie friends. Don’t be shy! ;) Thanks for having me here.

Boogies sure are good looking amps. I wonder tho… what is the ratio of jpgs to audio files up in here? That’s such an awesome super-sonic jet you have there! Do you think we might see it leave the runway…ever? Just playin’ 😎

    Do you feel it’s a waste…

My fellow musical explorer let me tell you that I am long in the tooth, battled and scarred from the [selfish *******] path of so-called "G.A.S.", and have untold stories of wrath wielded upon me by those that... "knew of the better". At this point I can only say this... I am a bad-ass musician...

    New to the Boogie

I’ve owned seven. My first was a studio caliber 22. Mesa/Boogie is top shelf from their products to their service because their amps are all made by great people that are passionate about their craft and the musicians they serve. I recommend giving an attenuator a look for opening the amp up and...

Amp Recommendation: Fender Convert - Need help choosing a Mesa - 5:50 Express Plus, LSC, LSS, or something else? Help

A used LoneStar Special Combo is probably worth a look. On the other hand, if you want to really dive in and Boogie, a Mark series will do what you want now plus open up a lot of avenues for future creative exploration. Boogies are addictive and fabulous amps that are also made and backed by...

So, what amps do you own?

I'm shreddin' with this gear! That little black box is the UA 'Dream' - '65 Deluxe Reverb in a pedal format going into a UA 'Volt' audio interface. The little Marshall portable speaker makes for a right-sized personal monitor for use at home and the iPad can be used for practice tracks...

The one guitar you regret most parting with?

White EJ Strat. Neck was a little sticky but otherwise it was fabulous. Paired nicely with a Lone Star Special.

So, what amps do you own?

Presently without a Boogie to call my own though I’ve rocked seven of them plus a 20:20 through the years. Presently getting my groove on with a ‘65 DRRI and a 5150 Iconic combo. I definitely want another Boogie, and I have this sneaky feeling that good things will come to those who wait :)
