    Aren't they all just standard on/off switches that can be controlled by a generic footswitch that makes or breaks the connection to ground? I suppose if they are, there's got to be some hierarchy as to which one trumps the others if all are "on" at once? And then how does the mode selector...

    Thanks! Yeah, my initial hunch was preamp tube. I have a box of 12AX7's to sub in, if/when it happens again. Loving the amp more and more everyday, by the way. Easily my favorite of the few Boogies I've owned.
