I live 10 minutes from the MESA factory in Petaluma. I bought these tubes from an "authorized" dealer also near me and assumed they would be top of the line (wouldn't think there would be grades of tubes with MESA on the box)... So the first "blue-hot" tube has been acting fine for a few days...
