Thanks for the response For_One. I did just add a bias pot so i can bias it now. I may try the TADs next time I retube it. I'm going to ride out the current tubes after the bias mod since i'm enjoying how it sounds biased a bit warmer!

Got the bias prpobe in the mail and got the 50/50 biased to crane's spec. I can definitely hear the difference. I'm using a POd HD as preamp. Distortion especially sounds much richer and smoother.

Yup, that's exactly what mine was doing, same exact thing. I believe i ended up using velcro tape for the padding on mine on top of the transformers, since it's what i had laying around. Has not made a peep since!

My 50/50 had some rattling going on when i first got it - had to put some foam tape on some pieces that were vibrating on there. Was a pretty easy fix and it's much quieter now. Although the fan is still audible, not really bothersome. Wonder if yours has a similar issue?

I use the 50/50 power amp with a pod HD pro as the preamp. The 50/50 does great with cleans. I have plenty of headroom, but it's still able to add a little character to the signal without deafening the audience. I'll probably keep the 50/50 as long as i'm playing, it just works and works well...

2x12 recto cabs are super defined and tight with a great low mid thump. I've tried to replace mine in order to downsize my rig recently, just can't bring myself to get rid of it as nothing else is up to snuff. Congrats!
