Clean Channel question, please help me out

I do have the trim switch and clean level on my ED. it is a new ED. So far it is as quiet as it can be, no noise of any kind and a great blue channel!!!!! But for the love of God, i cannot set the clean volume up to par with the blue and red no matter what i do. Do i have a bad "clean level"...

    Noise

i don't think the aluminum chasis should be the problem. My Budda SD80 was the quietest amp on earth.

Hello! After a few years, like the prodigal son, i'm back!

Hello guys: Here is my adventure: I have been a Mesa player since 1993-4 i owned a Mesa Tremoverb combo (with large fries) Well, i suddenly moved to the USA and had to sell my beloved amp. When i finally got here i bought a Mark IV , great amp, but i still had the Tremoverb (modded) in my head...

    A Question for Combo Owners...

i don't think a Mesa amp will rattle. i played a Tremoverb combo loudly for 14 years live and rehearsing, every week, for 14 years and it never did. The only way it will rattle is if you put a snake inside.

    Mesa Dual Rectifier Tremoverb Head

I forgot to say it comes with the footswitch. The amp has 2 small tears in the back, you might be able to spot them in the pics, but they are small.

    Mesa Dual Rectifier Tremoverb Head

One pic, camera batteries are charging, will post more pics either tonight or tomorrow. As you can see it is a bit dirty, nothing that a Bounty can't fix.

    Voodoo mod on Mesa Tremoverb

I played one for years and it was a great combo. The cleans were somewhat bf cleans, depending on the guitar, but i think it actually lost a bit of gain and distortion on the other channels. I preferred the reverb when it was UNmodded. It was a beast of an amplifier but i would not mod it again.

    2ch Dual or Trem-o-Verb

The actual prices on the Tverb seem to be close to the 1200-1250 ish when they are in good state. Of course you can find them for less, but you know what you are getting.

What can a Mark IV do?

It will be tight if you are using the Diode rectifiers. In the orange Hogh gain channel the leads are to die for, the real aggresive sounds come from the Red Modern and everything in between form tweaking. Mind you: If you are a Marshall player, you better forget all you know on dialing amps...
