Road King 2x12 vs Carvin Legacy 2x12

I know, that they are different. I've read about this in few topics :) But the construction makes a BIG difference. RK 2x12 is much more heavier than Carvin and you can actually hear that. I can say I am satisfied.

Road King 2x12 vs Carvin Legacy 2x12

So I bought it (a while ago actually) and the difference is unbelievable. So far so good and I'm quite satisfied with the sound.

Road King 2x12 vs Carvin Legacy 2x12

I have V30's in Carvin, but I guess speakers are not the only thing that defines sound. I thought that counstruction and materials matter a lot. Isn't RK built from the same as the Horizontal (except it's half-opened and has one C90 of course)?

Road King 2x12 vs Carvin Legacy 2x12

Hi guys! Quick question - I have Roadster for about a year and since then I've been connecting it to a Carvin Legacy 2x12 cab (because I didn't have anything else, except 1960A, which doesn't sound good with Roadster at all). It sonds decent, but I'm not 100% happy with the tone. Carvin has...

    Loss of Gain Roadster

Guitar cable maybe? I know it's stupid, but it's the first thing you should always check, if you haven't done it already :P

    Hi to forum and NAD!

At some point Marshall covered all my sound needs, but after playing Mesa for few hours and then plug in to Marshall again you can hear the difference. Plus 4 channels in Mesa, tuner out, wattage reduction, etc etc - these are the things I've always wanted in my amp.

    Hi to forum and NAD!

Yes, it's my firs mesa, but not my first tube amp. I've been playing JCM800 for a long time. To be honest I've had it since I started playing guitar, cause my uncle bought it back in early 90's. I was so accustomed to the Marshall sound that at first I dialed up my Mesa in very similar way. As I...

Well, can't make up my mind between these two, but finally I'll probably end up with rectifier anyway :)

    Hi to forum and NAD!

Hey guys! I've been reading this forum for few months now, but last week I bought my first Mesa, so I decided to finally join. It was hard to choose, but after playing on tons of amps I decided to purchase Roadster. Some time ago i realized, that every band I like uses mesa, so what was I...
