Okay so this is a really subjective question, but how does a Rectoverb 50 combo stack up to a Mark IV-b in terms of cleans and reverb quality and what about the gain, how different are the crunchy tones? I'm really interested to hear what y'all have to say.

I bought a DC-5 head with the big Accutronics reverb tank on the bottom and even with the reverb dimed it's faint at best. Anyone have any ideas about what might be wrong and perhaps a solution? Thanks in advance.
