Called the place the amp is coming from. According to them, the inside center of the knobs are black, not silver. This should be a giveaway that its an IIC, but I wont hold my breath. At any rate, anyone have what turning an IIC into an IIC+ would consist of?

Thank you! That's exactly what I was looking to hear, and also confirms my impressions of the one I tried (one of the first black stripe or dots). I thought the gain was a little too harsh on the bright side for me and I couldnt really dial it out. So I guess a green stripe is the way to go...
