Does the 5:25 sound good at low volume?

We meet in the Middle School cafeteria, so it's hard floors, no carpet. The room can fit 300, but we only have around 100 people. I'm wondering if a solid state (e.g. Fender Mustang III) or a smaller tube amp (1w-5w) would be a better fit?

Fender Mustang II and III compared to Mesa 5:25 and 5:50?

One problem that I have with the Mesa 5:25 at church is that it is WAY too loud for our small congregation (80 people), even at the 5w setting. When I use the master volume, it goes from super soft to super loud so it has been hard to adjust to the right level. I also don't think it sounds as...

Does the 5:25 sound good at low volume?

I play at a church of 80 people and they always complain that the electric guitar is too loud. Therefore, I'm looking for an amp that will sound great at a relatively low volume. Does the 5:25 sound good at a low volume, and if so, at the 5w setting or 25w setting? Of should I be looking for...

    5:25 to PA, how?

How would you integrate the 5:25 to a PA? Would you use the line out into one of the PA channels or would you mic it?

Any ideas about playing an acoustic through a 5:50 combo?

I like these settings: Bass 3pm Mid 0 Treble 10:30am Contour off Is it better to mic the amp to the PA or to use the line out of the amp to the PA?

Will "Standby" mode warm up the tubes?

I just bought a used Mesa 5:25 and am playing around with it to get the sounds that I like. I read that the tubes need to be warmed up for best sound. 1. Can I warm up the tubes by turning on the amp and putting it on standby mode, or do I have to play through it to warm it up? 2. Does it...

New 5:25 owner question about 5 watt volume

That's how mine is. 5w and 25w seem almost the same and I can hardly turn the master on at all and the amp is blasting loud. Since that's how it is for both of ours, maybe that's the way it is supposed to be?

New 5:25 owner question about 5 watt volume

For me, I was expecting a dramatic dropoff from 30w to 5w, but found that the 5w is still too loud!
