Quick question for those with a Mark I reissue combo. Does the chassis on your combos float a little in the cab. On my combo the chassis has some give. The screws on top of the cab are tight. Even so there is still some give from front to back if you press against the faceplate. Normal?

I have an older Two Rock 1x12 cab, oval back. I was thinking of using it with a Mark I Reissue. What would be a good speaker to drop in that cab? Right now there is Jupiter Alncio 50 watt speaker that I use with my Fender Deluxe. But I assume the Mark I will kill that speaker if I crank it up a...

One more question...the red heat shrink on the two wires by the two black and silver caps. What role do those wires play and is the heat shrink a cause for concern?

I posted some guts. It's a late 70s Mark 1. 60 watt. Original speaker. I think it has been serviced, though I am trying to find out what has been done to it. It has reverb. No GEQ. Cab is decent shape. It has been used, but in a good way. Second owner. But the owner has had it since 1979.

Can someone tell me if anything has been switched out.

The one I am looking at is about $1500. Too high? It if pretty much unmolested. I am just wondering if it is worth the extra $$ for an original versus a re-issue.

What would one expect to pay for an original Mark 1 in decent shape. Has never been serviced. Also, do the original boogies have serial numbers?

Yeah, this one is mint with the the imbuya wood and wicker grill. It is mint. Has been sitting it the original shipping box with tags, etc. I don’t think it has been played more than a few times. Need to figure out date. Must be a 2008.

$85 shipped. I had this speaker in an external cab for about two months. It has had very little use. It probably isn’t even broken in. Some solder residue on connectors. it is 8 ohms. 90 watts. 12 inch.

$130 for the three matched pairs Three sets of brand new Mesa 6L6 STR 440 power tubes. All three sets are coded "yel." I had these as backups for a Mesa Mark V that I just sold. These tubes haven't been used. I want to sell all three as a set.

Anyone know the part number for the support bolt that sits below the transformer on the Mesa Mark V head? Does anyone know who might carry such an item?

Removed the chasis from my Mark V head today for a tube change and forgot what order the reverb wires connect to the chasis. If you are looking from the back of the head, does the white one connect first (closest to the back panel) and then the black?

Got a Mark V. One of my 1x12 cabs has a 8ohm speaker. The other has a 16ohm speaker. If I want to run them together....the 8 ohm would go into the 4 ohm speaker out and the 16 ohm into the 8 ohm out, right?
