I've been using my American Std Tele with the LSS for almost 2 years and have been loving it every step of the way. (No problems at all :) ) I did however pick up a Les Paul JR yesterday and all I can say is LSS plus LP JR equals... dang!!

One year, 30 gigs or so, many rehearsals and no problems. 1x12 does fine with my band volume-wise. These guys refuse to mike my amp and other than some coverage issues the 30 watt setting holds it's own.

Hey thanks! That's very encouraging as I won't have a cab for this weekend and it's not a huge outdoor venue. Just a downtown street fair in a fairly small town. I'll probably get one eventually though. Mostly because now that I've got the amp I need something else to obsess about :)

I don't think you can ever get enough clean headroom for outdoor gigs with a 50w amp.

The LS and LSS seems great for blues and roots stuff and 410's should get you a great Tele country twang. All other boogies seem to rely on that modern overdrive sound which isn't very bluesy or vintage sounding.

Let me know what you think of the 410. Does this help 5w ch2 for you. I am ordering a LSS410 and am hoping it tightens up the low end a bit.
