I was thinking about buying a THD hotplate. But what I was wondering was how the ohms work. Do you just buy the one that is the same ohm load as your cabinet? Or do you have to combine the totals of your cab and the attenuator? I want to try it out with a Mark IV Has anyone had any luck with...

Try a BBE sonic stomp. That will tighten everything up.

I need to retube my Mark IV. What do you guys suggest? I have stock mesa tubes in it right now, but honestly the are so buzzy now and need changed badly. I just want a warm, high gain, crystal clear tone. Thanks, Kyle

I actually had been playing the amp for a few days with it plugged into the 8 ohm spot. I just realized that it wasn't an 8 ohm cab and freaked out :shock: Glad to hear it didn't hurt the amp! Thanks for the input... If I do rewire the cab for 4 ohms, what would that mean tonally. Is it driving...
