Here’s what it says 105-162318 OD I’m confused, it definitely says 105, but it’s not 3 1/2 inches tall.

I just took a closer look, it’s hard to read the number, but it is the same number you listed. I tried taking a picture of it, kind of hard to do.

Is it determined from the very top number on the transformer? I just looked at mine, it starts with 105-46....

I’ll have to take a look when I get home, I thought it was the 105PT, maybe I’m wrong.

Mine has the 105PT and has a very low 16,000 serial number.

Why is there a small “x” and a small black dot to the right of it? Does each indicate something different? Mine has these exact same markings and I’ve always wondered why it has both.

The mid control knob on my mark iii isn't working. The push / pull function is working, but when I turn the knob the mids don't adjust at all. Any ideas what might be wrong? Thanks, Sean

If you've got everything plugged into the correct places and you have both knobs pushed in, then there's probably something wrong with either the pedal or the amp.

Do all three channels work properly when not using the footswitch?

I have a similar footswitch, mine is made by Switch Doctor. Is one of the 1/4 jacks a 90 degree angle jack? If so, I believe that one goes into the front of the amp. That leaves just two for the back. The reverb and EQ one is easy to identify because it's different, it's a tip/ring/sleeve...

I have no experience at all with recording, I just purchased an inexpensive Focusrite interface to record with, and downloaded DAW called Reaper. Is there a way to record directly through the amp? Or do I need to mic the amp?

I just recently picked up the 4 button switch Doctor footswitch.... I love it! Prior to that I was using the stock foot switches for the channel switching, but didn't have a footswitch for the EQ and Reverb. This all in one pedal is great!

Everyone always says you've got to have the master volume up quite a bit to push the power tubes to get the amps true tone, so my question is, how high does the volume need to be up to get there?

Had my Mark III volume at 4 and was playing for a couple hours, started hearing a kind of static muffled sound and then the amp went dead silent. I connected another speaker to it and it works fine. I'm pretty sure the speaker took a crap, it was the C90 speaker. Did I push it too hard?
