    Having owned both I can truly say the Roadster has a much sweeter clean channel than the Dual Rectifier. The Orange and Red Channels don't hit as hard as the Dual but I feel they are more musical which more than makes up for it.

    It's not that I can assure you. Its like there is a lack of punch and harmonic content sometimes. I sit in the same spot the knobs are in the same spot everything is the same. Except the tone comming from the amplifier.

    Yep People That Complain About Harshness Are Put Putting The JB In Either Alder Ash Or Basswood Guitars. which are bright enough already.

    JB in mahogany bodied guitars will give you the fatest tone you will ever hear It's like using bigger gauge strings. Because of this you will have a very hard time getting a scooped metal tone. I wish keeped it. Now that I have Active EMGs , I want that fat lead tone too.
