I get a very harsh reverb washon channel 1 clean when switching from channel 2 or channel 3. Is this normal?
Lets say I'm playing on channel 2, I stop, then switch to channel 1 and I get a weird reverb wash.
I'm putting together a small Pink Floyd/ David Gilmour rig and I want a small amp (head) with great cleans. I don't care much about the drive channel. I'll be using my pedals.
I would prefer a physically small amp like the ones below and no more than 35 watts.
Which one out of those three...
not a increase in volume, but you can tell something else is added to the signal, even with no guitar plugged in. there is a difference in the idle hissing of the amp when the reverb is engaged.
I was thinking about using some "Room" reverb in the FX loop of the Royal Atlantic and have it on all the time, just a little bit of reverb.
Would you recommend using the onboard reverb of the Royal Atlantic or getting an external pedal like the TC Hall of Fame...
I am getting an annoying popping noise when switching channels only with the footswitch.
I recorded a video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nJOAgFYHnyY
If you immediately switch between the channels constantly there is no noise, but then if you play clean for like 2 or 5 minutes on one channel...
Disappointed with Mesa Boogie once again. This might just be my last Mesa amp until they fix the stupid popping issue.
By the way, this is not my first Mesa that popped, I used to own a Roadster head that popped, then went to the store and exchanged it for another one and that one also popped...
I just got my Mark V and it's making a popping noise when switching channels only with the footswitch.
The weird thing is that It happens after I stay on one channel for a while. I can switch to all channels and get no pop if I do it without spending too much time in each one.
All channels in...
I've got a few questions that are not related to the Diezel.
Do you prefer the Mark IV or the XTC for high gain smooth creamy lead tones?
What cab are you using with the XTC and Mark IV? Slanted or straight?
thanks Miguel :D
(bchamorro here from BAM)
I am 100% aware of the tones that come from the rectifier oversized cabs.
I'm just concerned about the straight cab.
Have you ever used a straight oversized live with a dual rectifier or triple rectifier?
I will always go with a straight cab over...
